I’ve dabbled in podcasting off and on over the years, and I have recently been humoring returning to the process of sharing my thoughts, insights, and heart through that format again. And so after months of debating with myself, I decided to go for it.
I’m building the podcast around one idea: Talking about REAL Christianity for REAL Life. The world doesn’t need louder Christians, but it desperately needs deeper Christians. I aim to unpack “real Christianity” through five areas:
- Bible Teaching. There is nothing I love more than helping God’s Word come alive for people. I will regularly walk through Scriptures and connect God’s Word in a teaching format for your deeper knowledge of God and His Word.
- Spiritual Disciplines. More than reading about God, I want to help you live for God, and walk with Him in your daily life. I’ll help you do that through unpacking the disciplines of a growing relationship with Jesus.
- Christian Perspective. How we see ourselves, one another, and the world as a whole is very important. I will regularly share Biblical Christian worldview – not through the lens of popular Christian values or personalities – but through a Biblical lens.
- Leadership Development. God has given each of us varying degrees of influence, and we can grow the leader He’s placed inside of us through wisdom, better systems, and best practices.
- Story Telling. You are living a story as you read this! And your story is a part of the much larger story of God’s work in the human race. Let’s learn how to write and tell a better story with our lives of God’s faithfulness!
